Given the highly specialised nature of forensic investigations and the rigorous testing of all findings it has been our policy to recruit members who are recognised for their specific skills in this diverse field. Wherever a fraud affects our clients, expert help is at hand. Uphando HR Services provide a Human Resource Management Outsourcing function for small enterprises that cannot afford the skills of a permanent HR Manager, but have a need for the function.

The final Codes of Good Practice on Broad Based Black Economic Empowerment (BBBEE) were gazetted on 9 February 2007 in Government Gazette No. 29617, whereby businesses with a turnover of less than R5 million per annum are exempted from BEE. There is thus no restriction on race, gender or number of employees to qualify as a level 4 superior contributor to BEE.

Therefore, Uphando is compliant as a level 4 superior contributor to BEE and a certificate is available on request to ensure that your company scores in terms of procurement. However, we believe that the diversity of our staff members enrich our performance and service, the community we live and work in, as well as the lives of our colleagues.

INFRASTRUCTURE

As a small business we believe in promoting a professional and proficient service with credible results. To enable us to achieve service delivery, we have incorporated an adequate and reliable infrastructure.

The office is manned during office hours to ensure that all investigative instructions, general enquiries or account queries could be attended to immediately. A dedicated fax line and file server supported through our in-house computer network ensures effective communication.

All staff have individual email addresses through the Uphando domain, supported by ADSL line connection. We believe that client confidentiality is of utmost importance and therefore all client information is stored onsite.

GEOGRAPHICAL SUPPORT

Our head office is situated in Bellville, Cape Town. Our operational area includes the greater Cape Peninsula as well as the whole Western Province region.

Our Gauteng office is situated in Bryanston. Our operational area includes the greater Johannesburg and Pretoria region.

Although we do not have offices in the other regions, we have no objection to assist with assignments outside of the boundaries of the Western Cape and Gauteng.
